Meet Tiffany B.
Tiffany is our Claims Administrator. As I’m sure you can imagine, managing thousands of trucks as a business means we must deal with a lot of moving parts in the Insurance world. Tiffany helps us deal with those parts! Tiffany is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she is also studying to be a chef in addition to her role at Fluid Truck. What is your favorite part of your job?
“I think my favorite part is the opportunities that I have. I began at Fluid as a customer service agent, and I've been growing so much, and I love that. Fluid Truck fully utilizes all of my skill sets, and I love that. It's difficult to find a job where they actually utilize everything you can offer.”
What is the best career advice you’ve ever received?
“I once had a job in Venezuela as an engineer at a startup and I was given the advice, "fake it till you make it!" I thought that was really cool. Just fake it until you actually have something to present and the “make it” part will follow.”
What is your favorite snack?
“Doritos - Regular Nacho Cheese. And a Coke!”
What are you doing when you aren’t working?
“I’m studying to be a chef right now. I love playing with my two cats and biking. I take really long bike rides every Sunday with my friends. We do like 40-50 miles every Sunday, we go to different places outside of the city. I cook a lot, and I read a lot. I'm a nerd, basically!”
What’s your favorite line from a book, song, or movie?
“I love poetry. There’s a line in a poem from a Spanish poet, Elvira Sastra that I love - ‘Poetry held me when nobody could.’”
Do you have a secret talent nobody knows about you?
“I play the piano! And I’m a builder - I’m great at building things. I even built my own computer.”
If you could have a Fluid Truck full of one thing, what would it be?
“Something really expensive - I think a van full of Apple gadgets - everything Apple has!"
